However, in my opinion, the option of taking it on the plane, and the ease of steering and manoeuvering is worth paying a little extra for. As he grows, his legs will become more supported by the foot- and lower leg rest, but for now it looks a tad uncomfortable, and he was flapping his legs about quite a bit.

The pushchair came in one pleasingly small box, neatly folded with just the wheels to add before use. The City Tour stroller is easy to carry when folded; it has a handy shoulder strap and even fits into a lightweight, backpack-style carry bag, which is the right size for hand luggage when travelling. It’s easy to fold, has good recline, has added seat depth, leg support, canopy, easy to maneuver, compact, comfortable, nice looking and seems sturdy. Not only that; this buggy is lightweight, has ample storage space and can be easily steered with one hand for that extra bit of convenience. It took me some practice to do this and, while I managed to fold it down using one hand, despite several attempts, I found it impossible to attach the final clasp single handed. Its size and ease of movement meant I was also able to manoeuvre it down the aisle and back into position to ensure there was space for a wheelchair user on one of our journeys. Lightweight, Compact Design: Lightweight, compact design fits through a standard doorway, making getting around town with two easier than ever.

I would definitely have liked to know that the pushchair is front-facing only and there is no raincover provided, as well as the fact the handle is not height-adjustable.However, as with all of these compact folding buggies, it’s worth double-checking with the airline if you’re allowed to take them on-board, as allowances do vary – and airline staff is still getting used to the sight of travel-bag sized folded buggies.

The all new lightweight design fits through a standard doorway and features an ultra-compact fold, making getting around town with two easier than ever. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The Baby Jogger® City Tour™ 2 folds up small for big adventures—85% smaller than when it's unfolded. The strap always needs a bit of a tug, so I could never get the movement to look as smooth as in the promotional videos, but folding is nonetheless satisfyingly simple.I’m about to tell you about a new buggy that we have been testing out, The Baby Jogger City Tour LUX . At first I thought this was handy, as it meant slightly less digging around under baby’s bottom for the straps.

Crucially, it also meant I could see when he started to loll forward to go to sleep, avoiding having to keep walking round to check. We found this invaluable when using public transport alone, with a baby on one arm; it saves faffing and allows you to use the steps in stations and in buildings. Lightweight, compact design fits through most standard doorways, making getting around town with two easier than ever. I found the 5-point harness simple to use it, although I imagine it could be a bit fiddly to connect with a wrigglier passenger or in a rush. I love the little zip pocket too, a handy place for nappies and wipes if Dad is taking the boys out and doesn’t want to take the entire baby bag with him. With the City Tour I no longer dread flights of stairs or have to work out step-free routes around London.
