Yes we’re not getting a few of his movies and no we’re not getting new atmospheric surround audio packages, but we’re getting something so much more important. Fleshtones are on the pallid side, while appearing predominantly lifelike, and falling in line with the film’s overall aesthetic. One by one the world's major crop species are dying, leaving us hungry and relying on the last sustainable crop, corn. That’s a whole other can of worms to open here in my opinion, but it’s also quite fascinating and thought provoking to me so we’ll get to all that in a moment here.

But, with Nolan's keen directorial eye, focused on the wonder of practical special effects, and a dominating performance from McConaughey, Interstellar overcomes most of its faults and satisfies in the end. Paramount Home Entertainment brings Interstellar to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as a three-disc combo pack with an UltraViolet Digital Copy, which can be redeemed via ParamountMovies. Underscoring the film’s sci-fi/adventure is an emotional center which is a derivative of the fundamentally rich character design which flows through the performances of the ensemble.

Over the past decade and a half Christopher Nolan has established himself as one of the premier Directors. The original blu ray version, the blackness of space is more milky grey than black when viewing on an OLED tv. You are completely immersed in this one and obligated by the aggression of it at times while others swept under the spell of the tender, heart wrenching moments. It was also interesting to learn the challenges of growing corn near the mountains in Calgary and how they made their money back by selling all the corn once filming concluded there. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse.

And I really hope you enjoy this one because after so many endless viewings now I certainly still am. Like in the 2015 Blu-ray presentation Matthew’s skin is still a bit on the hot side, but I think unlike the others he must have spent the month prior in a tanning bed. Shot on film in both anamorphic 35mm and IMAX 70mm, the presentation adopts the shifting aspect ratio formula for the two formats, with a 1. This one was interesting because it gives you a chance to semi-understand this complex moment in the film. From drones to explosions overhead believe it or not this one has a immense sense of height to it all.And despite all of this ambitious scale, Interstellar is also Nolan's most emotional voyage, using it as a tether to help understand the scientific concepts and costs. Vivid, richly-saturated greens seem to pop out the most during the farmlands scenes and aboard the space station orbiting Saturn, but secondary pastel hues are also brimming with a boldness throughout. How it will be filmed, some of the IMAX footage within as well as some of the logistics of the project as a whole. When I reviewed Interstellar during its initial theatrical release I said, "While stupendously broad in scope and epic space adventure, Nolan's "Interstellar" is also frustratingly jam-packed with so much explanation that there's little left up to the imagination. The 35mm scenes also show outstanding definition and clarity, but it's interesting to see that it's slightly softer by comparison.

When the crew of the Endurance visits a planet orbiting a black hole they're forced to think of time as a commodity since the Theory of Relativity states that time will slow down when one nears a black hole. Portions of this review appear in our coverage of the standard Blu-ray release written by Aaron Peck.

Romilly, set out on a mission to recover the astronauts' data; if one of the planets is habitable, humanity will follow on space stations. So let’s begin this very long trek of going over what the film is all about and most importantly why you’re all here, the review of the Blu-ray set itself. There were also up to 15 projectors employed here at one time during this incredible Act 3 sequence.
