BlobbyVision was also used to promote Mr Blobby's Hidden History Activity Book, released by BBC Children's. BlobbyVision featured even more of Mr Blobby's antics than ever before, including Postman Blob, Mastermind and even Blobbin Hood! BlobbyVision imagined Mr Blobby's own television channel which naturally ended in gunge and disaster! He also appeared on The Last Leg, where he was declared as leader of "The 90s Party", a political party formed by the show's hosts. In May 2023, Mr Blobby auditioned for the sixteenth series of Britain’s Got Talent where he performed a magic act.

Mr Blobby was later dropped from Noel's House Party for its final series, but was later brought back for the programme's final episode. He then, according to the video, three hours later, broke into the studio and delivered the final note. It was the final VHS tape to be released, with Noel's House Party ending 3 years later due to disputes and poor ratings. He commented that working as Mr Blobby was harder than it looks by saying "People think it's easy bouncing around saying, 'blobby', but they should try it. He also appeared on BBC News and was interviewed by Christian Fraser to discuss his pantomime appearance. After the conclusion of the second series, the character was made a regular feature of the programme, with the production team taking turns to don the costume created by artist Joshua Snow.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Will Carling, Valerie Singleton, Wayne Sleep, and more, this film is perfect for fans of comedy and British television. The adventures are extended versions from those seen on 'Noel's House Party', and sees the spotty one dressed as a superhero, a bellboy, a secret agent, a traffic warden and a busker. This site is not affiliated with, funded, or in any way associated with the British Broadcasting Corporation, Unique Group, Noel's House Party or the Mr.In February 2009, Cole Moreton of The Independent featured Blobby in a recounting of the "10 most irritating television characters", asking: "Was there something in the water? It beat Meat Loaf's " I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," and Take That's " Babe", among other songs to Christmas number 1. Within the first 3 weeks of its release 200,000 copies were sold, making it BBC Enterprises' fastest-selling video. Mr Blobby first appeared in 1992 in the 'Gotcha' segment of the second series of Noel's House Party, in which celebrities were caught out in a Candid Camera style prank.
