Thanx to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press. This was released April 2023. I am providing an honest review. The last chapter left me sobbing. It was the best way to end the book. Yet it’s so unbelievably sad. She was a 17 year old with no personality whatsoever besides hating cliche's and CONSTANTLY saying and thinking that she hates cliches, all while of course being one.. Narrated by Pippa and Amanda, I enjoyed both stories. I didn’t love the characters, but I didn’t hate them. Hepworth does a solid job of showing not only the good and bad sides of a marriage but also the good and bad sides of the characters. In the beginning, I was more intrigued by Pippa, but by the end, I wanted more of Amanda.

I love every bit and pieces of it. The beginning. The middle. The ending. The words. The sentences. The paragraphs. The chapters. The book. I love it. I love Soulmates so much. I highly recommend it and of course, it's added on my all-time-favorites list! This book is so clever in the way it rationally explains insta-love, and the fact that it's self aware of how fast paced the romance is does help me like it more, but there was something fundamental that I didn't like about the portrayal of friendship between girls and what's deemed effeminate (drinking banana milk doesn't threaten masculinity, does it?)Inspired by what she saw, she started writing teen fiction, including the best-selling, award-winning ‘Spinster Club’ series which helps educate teenagers about feminism. When she turned thirty, Holly wrote her first adult novel, 'How Do You Like Me Now?', examining the intensified pressures on women once they hit that landmark. Secrets, betrayals, and twists galore, it is quite an exciting read. Recommended to read any time of the year, this fast paced, character driven novel is sure to bust the greatest reading slump.

Thank you so much to the publisher, St. Martin's Press and Macmillan Audio, for providing me with copies to read and review. Twin flame relationships are typically more intense than soulmate relationships. Twin flames tend to mirror each other’s wounds, so they can both see what they need to heal. The side effect of that is that twin flame relationships tend to be very painful. They also often have a lot of ups and downs. Another common quality is that they often are on-again, off-again relationships where one of the partners may frequently come in and out of the others’ life. Soulmates vs kindred spirits River makes a deal with the leader of another alien race who had also been captured—she’ll release them if they promise to return the three girls to their home. Torak Ja Kel Coradon, Leader of the House of Kassis and next ruler of the Kassis Galaxy, has other plans when he sees this stunning human woman. He plans on claiming her for himself. The three women are believed to be the Prophesized warriors sent to join forces to bring peace to the House of Kassis, and River will be his mate. And to tell you honestly, I loved the ending. I am so happy that they didn't end up together. It is actually better that way rather having a happy ending without reasonable and clear explanation. There’s a cottage on a cliff. Gabe and Pippa’s dream home in a sleepy coastal town. But their perfect house hides something sinister. The tall cliffs have become a popular spot for people to end their lives. Night after night Gabe comes to their rescue, literally talking them off the ledge. Until he doesn’t. ABOUT 'THE SOULMATE': Before the woman went over the cliff, Pippa and Gabe were happy. They have the kind of marriage that everyone envies, as well as two sweet young daughters, a supportive family, and a picturesque cliff-side home - which would have been idyllic had the tall beachside cliffs not become so popular among those wishing to end their lives.

It [Twilight] got me thinking about why we always want love to have this huge overarching dramatic narrative. Why do we crave fireworks and drama and forbidden-this-and-that, when it's actually probably not very good for us? So I took the most romantic idea of all -soulmates- and thought, What would happen if finding your soulmate was actually the worst thing ever? I finally got the book and the moment it was on my Kindle, I started reading. My opening impression was pretty good - the writing was easy to read, some characters were witty, some infuriating, most of 'em likeable and quite well written, the plot was flowing. Featuring ~ dual timeline ~ now and then & before and after, suicide, infidelity, mental illness, short chaptersThis book was underwhelming primarily as a result of its characters. The Soulmate has two narrators and two timelines (a then and a now timeline). It felt like the author was trying to create morally grey characters, imperfect people; however, the characters were just not likeable. After another unsuccessful relationship and wanting to find “the one,” Callie Swan is determined to meet the man of her dreams before she turns 30. Working as a phone marketer in New York City while writing her novel, she decides to create a guide for finding your soulmate. This is the third novel I have read from this author and I have felt that way about every one of them. The plots are just so compelling, it's almost impossible to stop. Every chapter leaves you wanting more; more answers, more drama, more revelations. It's a whole experience. Okay, so haha joke is on us, there must be a second book coming out and Poppy and Noah find a way to cheat chemistry and now they can be together?!?!? Right???? No?? Oooooookkkkkayyyy!! You’ve found someone who loves you. You. For exactly who you are. Some people go through their whole lives without ever experiencing that and you’ve managed to achieve it at the tender age of seventeen. So stop worrying and enjoy it. Just don’t forget who your friends are.”

Sally Hepworth has been a consistent author for me and I always look forward to listening to her new releases. When I see a favorite author is releasing a new book-I get excited! But, only a FEW of those books go STRAIGHT to the top of my TBR list, no matter how far out the publication date is!! Soulmate literally took my breath away and made me cancel my entire Sunday plans! I just sat as my face glued to my e-reader, excitedly devouring each chapter till the late night. I LOVE to hear a familiar voice and always enjoy Barrie Kreinik's narration. Jessica Douglas-Henry is excellent as well. Once I got over the fact that Noah and Poppy were obviously going to date, that Ruth was going to stay in the story even though I didn’t want her there in the first place, and that some vague secret agency thing was going on (which was missing something in my opinion… Once again, I think there was just some reason why I found it hard to believe that something like that could be true) I couldn’t help myself but smiling throughout the whole story. Poppy and Noah are two adorable characters and they were SO cute together! So I kept smiling and smiling, but of course I knew there would come an end to the smiling. The person has caused you to change in some manner. Maybe your views have expanded or you’ve dealt with a wound or trauma that needed to be dealt with as a result of your relationship with this person. Por eso mismo me ha gustado tanto Dos almas, porque no trata de una historia de amor de película que surge sin motivo, sino que tiene una razón y que se va dando poco a poco para que el lector pueda adaptarse a ella. There is nothing on earth more beautiful to me than your smile...no sound sweeter than your laughter...no pleasure greater than holding you in my arms. I realized today that I could never live without you, stubborn little hellion that you are. In this life and the next, you’re my only hope of happiness. Tell me, Lillian, dearest love...how can you have reached so far inside my heart?” This is the only book which Holly Bourne has ever included a fantastical, sci-fi element too. Although fun, I'm not sure if it worked and I'm glad she stayed away from mixing genres since. Pippa and Gabe Gerard are happily married for seven years, with two adorable daughters, buying their dream house that resides at cliffside in a sleepy, small coastal town outside Melbourne. Pippa’s family including her parents, her newly expecting sister and her wife living close to them. They seem like picture perfect family.
