So when I got the change to take a peek at the new Party Popcorn Book from Ashton over at Something Swanky I was SUPER excited to see that she created a recipe for Salt and Vinegar Popcorn. We have the largest selection of crisp flavours in Europe and munch our way through more packets of the potato snack than any other neighbouring country. The clincher here is that at the time of writing, they are on sale in Tesco Ireland for a mere €5 for a bottle - normally €6. I have to admit, this end of week sabotage has been a bit of a cycle for me - and I think I’ve finally found a way to break it.

The dietitian adds:“Although these are identified as crisps, they actually contain 42% potato, leaving the rest up to wheat starch, sunflower oil, maize oil and rice flour.They also have a high fat content considering the calories are relatively low, so approach with caution. Corona – I’m told Corona light might be gluten free but haven’t found it myself yet so can’t confirm! Muskateers is the US equivalent and seems to be gluten free but I’m yet to get my hands on one yet so if you find one, let me know for sure! While the Chilli Heatwave Doritos and the Flamin’ Hot Wotsits don’t have milk, they will have milk powder on them from sharing a bag with the other crisps.Including lunchtime classics Wotsits, Quavers, French Fries and Squares and snack-time heroes Monster Munch and Bugles, Walkers Snacks are jam-packed with flavour and fun. Verdict: Of all the baked corn snacks on the market, Monster Munch have the highest number of calories and fat content.
